Two witches, two cities

Ethereal Moon
All-female duo working at the intersection of generative AI, visual art and independent cinema: Melody “LeMoon” Bossan in Nice and Dina “Ethereal Gwirl” Lockamy in New York. Officially formed after Love Bytes won FilmFast 72h — Danny Boyle’s favourite film.
We don’t make AI films. We make films that happen to be AI.
99.9% of AI films chase realism — competing with live-action on its own terms, and losing. We go where cameras can’t: mythological, uncanny, visually impossible worlds built for this medium specifically. We are not making cheaper films. We are making films that could not exist any other way.

Melody “LeMoon” Bossan
Nice · France
LeMoon is an AI artist based in Nice, France, with a creative background in TV production and video game marketing. Her artistic work serves as an expression of memories, personal experiences, fears, and dreams, encapsulated in a nostalgic and disturbing style. LeMoon's art delves into unconventional and surreal themes, presenting an approach she terms "absurd realism." Through her creations, she navigates the boundaries of reality and the fantastical.

Dina “Ethereal Gwirl” Lockamy
New York · USA
Ethereal Gwirl is an AI artist based in New York, known for her expressive representation of daily observations, emotions, and imaginative ideas through images and videos. She aims to present viewers with a dynamic and diverse artistic world that highlights the strength of creative variety.
Every project in our slate orbits the same gravitational pull — the questions no one asks out loud:
· The feminine body as site of myth, transformation and reclamation
· Memory and identity — what we inherit, what we survive, what we become
· Power and projection — who gets to tell the story, and whose silence it was built on
What sets us apart
· We build visual worlds that exist nowhere else — uncanny, mythological, impossible by any other medium
· We have never made a realistic film, and we probably never will — or almost never
· Every project is authored, not generated — with a distinct directorial voice behind every frame
· Jury: Chroma Awards 2025, AIFA 2025, MarsAI 2026
· Panels: Biarritz Film Festival, NFC Lisbon, NFT Paris
· Featured in two documentaries about AI
· Members of Prompt Club, the French AI filmmakers association
· Art collected by 50+ collectors worldwide through Fellowship; exhibited in 30+ venues around the world
· Classes taught in film schools, universities and companies
· Co-productions with Wonder Studios, Samuel Le Bihan, DreamFlare and Abyss
