The First Lie of the Sea
A mermaid has never existed. But the image crossed every ocean, survived three thousand years, and reached your mind before you ever saw the sea.
“In this world there are truths and there are lies, but it isn't always that simple.”
Synopsis
No one invented the mermaid. No one needed to.
An exhausted human mind looked at the water and saw something that wasn't there — not a lie, but a need. That image traveled three thousand years without anyone carrying it, shaping what people perceived before they even looked.
This film is about how a myth erases the women it was built from.
